December 3rd through the 7th

This week 8th Grade will have a math test on Wednesday. Seventh grade will have a math test on Thursday. Sixth grade will have their math test next week. Keep working hard.

In science, we will continue exploring the characteristics of the body systems, especially the respiratory and circulatory systems. Together these two systems are known as the cardiovascular system.

I would like to thank all of the parents who attended parent teacher conferences. I would also like to thank all of the students for helping to remind their parents about conferences.

I am working on setting up a field trip to a landfill, fish hatchery, and waste-water treatment facility in the the Michiana Area. Hopefully, this will happen before Christmas.

Thursday is a dress down day if you bring in a nonperishable food item. 6th and 7th Grade has their final drafts of their science research papers due next Monday. They should be typed unless you get other permission. I am currently working on setting up a field trip to a local landfill and and state fish hatchery. Keep thinking of ways to improve your memory.

Finally, be thinking of ways to make the public aware of your science issue. How will you communicate to as many people as possible? How will you get them to change their actions?
